From challenging prevalent societal norms like the dowry system and child marriage to advocating for children's welfare, Mohan Bhai's approach emphasized holistic psychological development over rote learning. Bhagirathi Devi, inspired by her husband's endeavors, played a pivotal role in various social and political projects, notably leading the charge against the purdah system in her region. Her dedication to Anuvrat Vishwa Bharti for fifteen years made her an icon of inspiration, not only for women but also for the ethos of BalSambal. A significant turning point occurred when Mohan Bhai's successor, Panchseel Jain, chose to continue his parents' legacy of public service. Transitioning from a successful business career, Jain redirected his efforts towards addressing societal needs. Recognized by the government for his contributions, Jain's decision to establish BalSambal—a free residential school for underprivileged tribal children—embodied his commitment to providing a nurturing environment akin to a home for these children.
