It conducts sessions for adults such as school staff, parents, police force, counsellors, medical personnel, social workers, judiciary and the media personnel on prevention and management of sexual violence. It also conducts sessions and workshops in schools, colleges, and even in corporations. It works to demystify sexuality by providing a scientific understanding of physiology of the reproductive system and gender psychology. It also works with the government to strengthen systems and policies, including their implementation, against child sexual abuse. Through its Personal Safety Education program, it teaches children to recognize, resist and report sexual abuse. Enfold India’s Laksha Makkala Surakshe Project aims to provide Personal Safety Education and awareness free of cost to 100,000 underprivileged children, and sensitize the adult caregivers and stakeholders who are responsible for children’s wellbeing and safety. Through its Suvidha Kit, Enfold aims to help adults and caregivers teach children with special needs about sexuality and sexual abuse. Enfold also works to empower sexual minorities and provide the LGBTQ community equal rights, counseling, and support. Enfold works with families and children who have suffered from sexual abuse, helping them interact with police; assisting them in receiving medical help, justice, and care and protection from Child Welfare Committees; and facilitating their reintegration into society. Enfold has held numerous public conferences and published many papers on child sexual abuse.
