SPEECH aims to improve the quality of life of the oppressed, disadvantaged and the marginalised communities with the implementation of Sustainable De Read morevelopment Goals Programmes. The organisation provides educational guidance to youth and identifies drop-out cases amongst children to motivate them to pursue regular schooling. It conducts and organises various skill development programmes at vocational training centres with an aim to provide employment opportunities to marginalised communities. Additionally, in order to develop backward villages and weaker sections, the organisation with its integrated socio-economic activities in agriculture, horticulture, irrigation and watershed development works towards improving the living conditions of the villagers and slum-dwellers. Further, it works for the protection and promotion of environment in the areas such as disaster mitigation management, drought relief activities, promotion of non-conventional energy sources, watershed development, protection of forest eco-system and other related activities. Also, the organisation conducts health camps to raise awareness and provide free medicines for curable diseases by setting up community health facilities, mobile medical care, disabled care and day care centres for children and people with disabilities.

Many labourers in an area where rainfall is declining annually rely on seasonal agricultural work. By finding sustainable revenue streams and offering corresponding skill training, SPEECH seeks to enhance the economic status of underprivileged communities by breaking the cycle of dependence on menial occupations and agriculture.
