JSW Foundation aims to empower communities by providing support to the entire life cycle of a woman through strategic interventions during the vulnera Read moreble stages of pregnancy, upto the age of 6 and during adolescence. The Foundation works with an aim to reduce malnutrition and provides education to children under the age of six years. Further, with adolescents it focuses on eradication of anaemia, education and skill development. Also, the foundation provides for adequate care during pregnancy and ensures institutional deliveries for all women under the area of operation. Additionally, it ensures the sustainability of inputs by implementing provisions for clean water, sanitation and improved agricultural productivity. The focus of the Foundation is to resolve the issue of malnutrition through its Suddridha Bharat Programme, facilitate education through Saksham Bharat Programme, empower the youth by providing employable skill through Sammilit Bharat Programs, imbibe water security via long-term watershed development through Sujal Bharat programs, provide access to sanitation facilities in rural areas to make them open-defecation free and promote sports amongst the communities through Sajeev Bharat Programme.
