The Resilient Foundation has substantially impacted since its establishment, focusing on building capacity and resilience in Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and Delhi. Here are some of our notable achievements: Capacity Building: We have successfully trained over 15,000 individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to disasters and emergencies. School Safety: Our commitment to creating safe and secure learning environments is evident through our work with ten schools in Palghar, Maharashtra. Previously, we collaborated with over 100 educational institutions, positively impacting the safety of students and staff. Corporate Engagement: We've extended our expertise to the corporate sector, training more than ten employees in industrial hazards and safety-enhancing workplace safety practices. Highway Safety: Under the "Mrityunjay Doot Scheme," in partnership with Highway Traffic Police, we've trained over 1,500 police personnel along Maharashtra's national highways and expressways, saving countless lives during critical incidents. Collaborations: Our collaborations with organizations like UNICEF, RedR India, SEEDS India, Helping Hand Charitable Trust, TISS, Yuva, and RedR India have strengthened our disaster risk reduction initiatives. Community Empowerment: We initiated the first-of-its-kind training program, educating 300 stakeholders across 30 gram panchayats in disaster risk reduction empowering local communities to address disaster challenges proactively. Global Networks: As active members of Sphere India, Mahapeconet, GNDR, ADRRN, and Catalyst2030, we contribute to international efforts in disaster resilience and sustainable development. Prestigious Awards: In recognition of our outstanding contributions, we received an award from the President of India in 2012. Additionally, we were honored with the prestigious SARTHI award in Bali, Indonesia, endorsed by ADPC, FICCI, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, for our innovative approach to disaster risk resilience. Our impact reaches diverse sectors and communities, reflecting our unwavering commitment to building resilience, saving lives, and fostering sustainable development.
