The persistent gender gap in education hinders youth development. Gender inequity in education is characterized by, among other things, lack of access Read more to and availability of gender sensitive educational infrastructure, materials and training programmes, as well as a high dropout rate amongst secondary school aged girls. Thus aashray ensures that all the children irrespective of their economic status of gender deserve education. Aashray strongly believes that every child, irrespective of economic status, has the right to education. With that in mind, there is no greater travesty than children being denied education, not because they’re unwilling, but because they cannot afford their books, uniforms and academic fee. By sponsoring a child’s education, you not only give the child a future, but also help reduce illiteracy and increase the child’s quality of life. When you sponsor a child’s education, you educate a child and all the future generations that are yet to come. As a sponsor, you will receive regular reports and updates regarding your ward’s academic and extracurricular activities. A society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity and a culture of service in which all are self-reliant. Aashray's focus and sole reason for existence is the child, especially the street child and disabled child. The family of the child is the medium through which the development takes place. Organization and sensitization of the community is the approach through which empowerment, capacity building and social transformation are attempted. So sponsor a child today
