The Kallpoosh Foundation (KF) is a proactive, non-profit organisation that operates at a national level with an emphasis on environmental, social, and Read more governance (ESG) criteria. Its mission is to uplift the lives of the economically and socially underprivileged, focusing on livelihood development for the most vulnerable segments of society. Through extensive engagement in both rural and urban areas, KF is dedicated to fostering citizens' well-being and addressing critical issues, especially the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the pandemic's second wave, KF has launched the "Need of the Hour Campaign," taking effective action to combat the crisis and assist various state administrations. Activities include the distribution of essential items like hygiene materials, ration supplies, masks, and sanitisers to those in need. The organisation also plays a crucial role in expanding medical resources and providing beds and medical equipment to impoverished patients and hospitals. KF further extends support through oxygen sourcing and distribution, medication procurement, setting up COVID treatment centres, and facilitating transportation of essential supplies. This comprehensive approach also encompasses education, skill development, sports promotion, and initiatives for persons with disabilities. The organisation's dedication to preserving language, culture, and heritage reflects its commitment to multifaceted community betterment. KF's efforts encompass gender equality, climate resilience, urban development, rural progress, and enhancing governance capacity, with a focus on empowering tribal livelihoods and supporting local CSOs and NGOs.
