It supports the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Progamme(RNTCP) an initiative of the Government of India to effectively treat and eradicate tuberculosis. The application TMEAD helps TB patients to remember to take medicines as per the prescription by sending alerts and also physical alarms on their mobile phones. It ensures that there is no confusion on the dosage by pre-filling and sorting all medicines. Daily compliance to medicines is also tracked and history can be seen on the application itself. The application has alerts for healthcare authorities wherein different priorities are given to patients based on their conditions, this helps in tracking the more serious patients and action can be taken accordingly.
