It has developed a mobile application “Maatritva” which tr Read moreacks, screens and identifies high risk pregnant women by increasing compliance in health ecosystem and ensures the continuity of Care towards the safe birth of the child. The application enables input of the pregnant women’s details like if she has any health issues like blood pressure, high sugar, heart diseases & hormonal diseases so that an action plan can be created in the absence of which there may be complications like premature birth or death of the mother/ infant. The data collected is screened and grouped into masses. This provides information to the midwives, gynaecologists and medical officers to concentrate on high risk cases. Each women registered in the application is allocated a unique QR code to make identification easier, history of health status and health centre visits are maintained for easy reference. It is available in various languages to make it user friendly. It has features to remind the expecting women of pending check-ups, removes paper based documentation and helps in keeping track of the status of the pregnant women. The organisation is supported by TCS Foundation, Digital Impact SQ, Unltd India and Social Alpha.
