Loving Hearts is a non-religious and non-political organisation devoted to creating lasting change in the lives of helpless individuals, including chi Read moreldren, destitute, and abandoned people on the streets. It aims to provide free education, food, clothing, love, and support to those in need, regardless of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, or gender. It is focused on empowering communities and families to ensure children's well-being through access to education, health services, protection, and participation. Objectives include saving lives, providing employment opportunities for the handicapped, beggars, and transgenders, educating the underprivileged, and sponsoring children's education. Upholding the highest ethical standards, promoting transparency and accountability, and recognizing the support of donors, friends, and volunteers are core values. Collaborating with other organisations, respecting local cultures, and empowering citizens to make a positive impact is integral. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves love, dignity, and care. Engaging with abandoned individuals, mentally challenged/disabled beggars, and transgender individuals involves providing compassion, food, clothing, and fulfilling basic needs with respect and empathy.

Programs

  • Food for the Needy Programme

Loving Hearts provides freshly prepared food to abandoned/mentally challenged/disabled beggars on the streets. Food is distributed, conversations are held, companionship is offered, and basic needs are addressed. Transgender individuals are met with empathy and respect.

  • Clothes for the Needy Programme

In daily encounters, individuals such as beggars, orphaned children, and mentally challenged people are seen on the streets of Bangalore. New, unused clothes are provided to them, ensuring immediate wearing and disposal of their old, worn-out garments.

  • Livelihood Programme

As part of this programme, individuals from slums are selected and trained in specific skills to enable them to earn a respectable income. The training aims to provide opportunities for men and women to acquire the necessary expertise to improve their financial prospects and livelihoods.

  • Career Guidance Programme

During this introductory session, participants were provided with guidance on selecting suitable career paths and choosing the appropriate academic stream after completing their 10th grade.
