Sevadhama, established in 2018 at Southadka Kokkada, is a rehabilitation centre for individuals with spinal cord injuries. It offers a minimum 12-week residential training programme where participants learn essential life skills such as laundry, cooking, and daily routine management. Its comprehensive training fosters social skill development, physical rehabilitation, and independence. Graduates return home with newfound confidence, dignity, and improved opportunities for employment. Sevadhama also provides mobility aids and accessibility solutions at subsidized rates, empowering individuals to lead self-reliant lives.

  • Community Based Rehabilitation Programme

As part of the programme, experienced field coordinators regularly visit the community to provide therapy, raise awareness, and offer training on pressure sore management to individuals with spinal cord injuries. Follow-up visits occur every 2-3 months, or as needed, to ensure that those who have already undergone rehabilitation remain engaged in income-generating activities and lead active lives. Additionally, great emphasis is placed on identifying individuals with spinal cord injuries, educating them about the importance of rehabilitation, facilitating their rehabilitation, and assisting them in accessing Government benefit schemes.

  • Arogyam Programme

Focuses on the health sector by conducting blood donation camps and facilitating blood arrangements during emergencies. It provides ambulance services at free or reduced fares, organises free health check-up camps, and offers financial assistance for medical treatments, aiming to contribute to a healthier society. The programme also includes initiatives such as organizing free yoga, meditation, and breathing exercise camps, promoting overall well-being and awareness. Additionally, health kits and financial support are provided to deserving patients.

  • Sabalini Programme

Project "Saabalini" aims to empower rural women by offering free tailoring camps, and promoting self-reliance. The project also organises health check-up camps and awareness programmes to enhance their well-being. Recognizing the contributions of women who have made a positive impact on society serves to motivate and instil confidence in them. The project focuses on empowering women by providing them with the necessary skills and opportunities to overcome poverty, care for their families, and contribute to the development of their communities. Additionally, community-level events like mass Varamahalakshmi pooja are organised.

  • Livelihood for People with Spinal Cord Injury
