The organisation's focus lies in extending financial, social, and emotional support to cancer patients, specifically those receiving treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital. Its dedicated efforts centre around providing critical emergency funding and temporary aid, which holds immense significance for new admissions, ongoing treatment, and individuals who lack support from other sources. Its adoption programme takes a holistic approach, catering to various needs such as medical treatment, ration distribution, education for patients' children, accommodation, and emotional well-being. Additionally, it actively supports the Annapurna Scheme by Nana Palkar Trust, ensuring free or subsidized daily meals for outstation patients. It extends its assistance further by adopting elderly couples residing alone in Mumbai, providing them with regular monthly financial aid, ration supplies, and medical support. Recognizing the extensive requirement for aid in this domain, Mesh Foundation has also taken responsibility for an old-age home in Virar, which houses over 70 senior citizens abandoned by their families.
