Programs

  • Institutional Care Home Programme

In regions of India with a notable HIV prevalence, longstanding endeavours have focused on extending care and support to AIDS orphans. The VBP Foundation, recognizing the need for a holistic approach, has launched a project dedicated to delivering treatment, nutrition, shelter, education, and moral encouragement to Children Living with HIV/AIDS. Presently, the organisation can assist and care for up to 66 children through this initiative, aiming to create a comprehensive and sustainable support system for those affected by the virus.

  • Child Nutrition and Health Care Programme

The lack of pediatric formulations posed a significant obstacle to providing adequate nutrition and treatment for a substantial number of children living with HIV/AIDS in India. Another pressing issue is the challenge of reaching untested children who may potentially carry the virus. The program emphasizes identifying vulnerable children to HIV infection and verifying their status as a top priority. Presently, the initiative extends support to over 50 children in Davanagere, addressing the critical need for proper nutrition and healthcare in the context of pediatric HIV/AIDS care.

  • Summer Camp Programme

The Summer Camp, an annual social event designed exclusively for children coping with HIV/AIDS, was introduced by the VBP Foundation in Davanagere in 2018. This joyous recreational gathering has expanded to other cities, offering a day-long programme with a meticulously planned agenda spanning 3-4 days. The activities are crafted to elevate children's spirits, providing an abundance of happiness throughout the camp, and creating a memorable experience filled with joy and camaraderie for those facing the challenges of HIV/AIDS.
