Pehchaan NGO is one of India's leading development nonprofit organizations. It currently works with 500 people across Ghaziabad and Noida, where over Read more90% of the population relies on beggars or daily labour and most people live on very little income. For over 6 years, Pehchaan NGO has worked with these people, not only to improve their material well-being but to build stronger and more ethical communities. Through its programs on governance, health, education, malnutrition sustainable use of natural resources, women's empowerment, youth development, child care and social enterprise. Pehchaan NGO makes a tangible and transformative impact. Every year, 120 disadvantaged children receive a quality education in its Gyan Jyoti project; 2800 children are saved from malnutrition by the Pehchaan NGO. Their mission is to make real the idea of a society consisting of free and equal citizens who can come together to solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts.

  • Gyan Jyoti - Education program

    In Noida and Ghaziabad, the Pehchaan NGO offers the Gyan Jyoti programme, which educates children from slum and beggar communities about their rights, values, and how to fulfil their ambitions in addition to providing education. Teens living in poverty and beggars should enrol in vocational programmes to learn useful skills that can help them become financially independent.

  • Ankur - Healthcare program

    It supplies community health centres with free medications. The Mahewa ETAWAH and PEHCHAAN NGO camps are set up in a certain location at a specific time, and they provide free medication to undernourished children. with assistance from Community Health Centre Superintendent Dr. Yatendra Rajput and his team.
