Read moreComprised of concerned residents, its primary goal is to create eco-friendly environments that promote ecological healing within the city. To achieve effective change, I am Gurgaon strongly believes in building partnerships and collaborates with the Government, NGOs, citizens, and corporates to make a meaningful impact. Several successful projects, such as the Aravali Biodiversity Park, Chakkarpur Wazirabad Bundh, Badshahpur Forest Corridor, Sikanderpur Watershed, and Restoration of the Forest, and Samadhan Hub, are shining examples of the positive outcomes that arise from such collaborative efforts. One of its key objectives is to increase the city's green cover, and to date, it has planted more than 175,000 trees under its 'Million Trees Gurgaon' initiative. Additionally, it actively addresses waste-related concerns by conducting educational campaigns, involving children and citizens in waste management initiatives, and using art installations to raise awareness about sustainable waste practices. These efforts highlight the organisation's commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on Gurgaon's environment through collective action and community engagement.

    State

The initiative aims to revive Gurgaon's bundh system, which was created to collect rainfall, preserve the water table, and control the city's water management systems.. This has been changed by the eco-restoration project undertaken by iamgurgaon in partnership with the Haryana Forest Department, Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG), and Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), which has produced a beautiful and secure area for the community to enjoy. The 5.2 kilometer Chakkarpur Wazirabad Bundh eco-restoration project has given a renowned Gurgaon neighborhood new life. For everyone to enjoy, especially for the community that doesn't utilize motorized transportation, it has developed a beautiful, green public area.
