Programs

  • Akshar

Fauji ke Alfaaz launched the nationwide initiative अक्षर (Akshar), which aims to give impoverished children access to a basic education. The best place to start for any of these initiatives—health, women's empowerment, job creation, etc.—is with knowledge.

Under Fauji ke Alfaaz's अक्षर (Akshar) initiative, children from disadvantaged backgrounds—child labour, children of the poorest parents, children afflicted with diseases, children on the streets and runaways with some disabilities, children affected by disasters, and children living in slums—will receive an education. Education for women and girls is given particular attention.

  • Shram

Fauji ke Alfaaz, with mission श्रम, is committed to establishing means of subsistence for the impoverished.
With its श्रम initiative, the NGO seeks to use hard work to generate basic employment or a means of subsistence. Committed to providing a means of subsistence for the poor, the NGO also seeks to assist women in villages and small towns in starting small businesses that would enable them to earn a living, such as beauty salons, sewing shops, and clothing design studios.
