Established in 1999, the Social and Evangelical Association for Love (SEAL) is a non-profit organisation (NGO) dedicated to the mission of rescuing Read moredestitute and missing children from the Railway platforms and streets of Mumbai. We rescue the young and old, men and women, the sick, lost and forsaken, and provide them with another shot at life! Along with providing food, shelter, clothing, health care and education, we strive to trace their families back home and reunite the lost. Currently, Seal Ashram is home to 285 people, mainly HIV and Tuberculosis patients, mentally challenged, handicapped, visually impaired and fully orphaned, all of whom now have a re-kindled hope of leading a purposeful life.  So far, SEAL has reunited 440 residents back to their long awaiting families across India; or else they might have been thrown into oblivion forever. Most of them were vagabonds and missing from home for a long period.  Our Effort Rescue SEAL Ashram rescues the young and old, men and women, the sick, lost or forsaken in the streets and railway platforms of Mumbai. Rehabilitate The Ashram provides medical care to the rescued, some of them are HIV+ or stricken with diseases such as Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Mentally disoriented, etc Reunite After recuperating from their illness, we are trying our level best to send them back to their respective families, all over India. Educate We strive to provide good education to the children, to prepare them to face the world. Our older children are going to college and younger ones are studying in Sharon English Medium School. Today, SEAL is a major referral point for more than 20 NGOs, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai Police, Medical Colleges, Hospitals and well-wishers.

  • SEAL Shelter (Home)

    The Mercy Mines Building for Snehadoot Hospital was formerly the Shelter Home for Gents and Ladies, Dining Hall, Prayer Temple, Church, Guest House and Library Building. The Ashram treats the rescued medically; some are HIV+ or suffering from conditions like hepatitis, tuberculosis, mental disorientation, etc. Provides food, and clothes to the rescued children, men, women and sick people. Children are provided education in school and college.
