  • Skill Development Programmes

    Genus Foundation's efforts in skill development extend to various sectors, including aiding farmers in adopting innovative manure production techniques and implementing diverse energy generation methods. These initiatives are designed to enhance the self-reliance of farmers, equipping them with new skills that contribute to their sustainable growth and self-sufficiency.

  • Education Programme

    Genus Foundation operates the educational arm called "Prerna," initiated in 1999 with the primary objective of delivering quality education to economically disadvantaged individuals. With a team of skilled educators and subject experts, Prerna offers coaching for Engineering and Medical entrance exams alongside other educational initiatives. The organisation takes pride in the accomplishments of its students who have secured top national ranks in these exams. Furthermore, Genus Foundation extends its efforts to provide free education and support to financially vulnerable students, particularly from slum areas within Rajasthan. The Foundation's commitment to education has garnered grants from the "Ministry of Minority Affairs" and the "Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment," both under the Government of India, enabling free coaching for Minority, SC, and OBC category candidates preparing for various competitive examinations.

  • Healthcare Programme

    Genus Foundation actively engages in health and family welfare initiatives, contributing to various activities such as health check-up camps, awareness programmes, and workshops. Notably, the organisation has been involved in the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) programme, a significant component of the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). Running an Urban RCH centre for three years (2008-2011) in Jaipur's slum areas with support from the Department of Medical & Family Welfare, Govt. of Rajasthan, Genus Foundation focuses on spreading awareness and implementing practices related to family planning, maternal health, comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care, referral delivery services, and immunization. The aim is to reduce infant and maternal mortality rates through these interventions. Recognizing the importance of proper healthcare during pregnancy and childbirth, the organisation actively contributes to preventing maternal deaths and improving women's health outcomes.

  • Agriculture Programme

    The organisation is committed not only to making farming more economically viable to retain and attract individuals within the agricultural sector but also to addressing the issue of disguised unemployment in this field. Skill development in agriculture emerges as a viable solution, and Genus Foundation is dedicated to this cause. Through its active engagement, it provides farmers with training in modern and scientific agricultural techniques, including Green House Farming, Organic Farming, and Vermicompost preparation. By equipping farmers with these essential skills, the organisation aims to elevate agricultural productivity, enhance income, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the agricultural workforce in India.

  • Water Management Programme

    District

    Genus Foundation actively engages in water management initiatives in Rajasthan, India. Through the EU-SPP, specifically the IWRM program, the organisation operates across 11 districts in Rajasthan, supported by funding from the European Union and the State Water Resources Planning Department. The project's core objectives encompass equitable access to safe water supply, comprehensive water sector reforms for sustainable resource management, and conservation and replenishment of surface and groundwater. The Foundation's involvement spans all three phases of IWRM activities, focusing on capacity building, community mobilization, and training to achieve these goals in various areas of western Rajasthan.
