Wipro Foundation is dedicated to improving access to primary healthcare services, particularly in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities and rural areas of India, where healthcare access has historically been lacking. It addresses issues like healthcare awareness, sanitation, and hygiene through community initiatives. Its approach involves building the local community's capacity to manage their healthcare needs in collaboration with nonprofits and ensuring the delivery of preventive and curative healthcare services. It has initiated projects in rural villages and expanded to various rural areas, with a current focus on urban slum areas in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata. Through 26 projects across nine states, it provides access to quality healthcare services for nearly 1.3 million people.

Wipro Foundation is deeply committed to ecological sustainability through its eco-eye program, initiated in 2008, focusing on Carbon Mitigation, Responsible Water, Waste Management, and Biodiversity. It sets rigorous goals, engages internal and external stakeholders, and prioritizes environmental challenges beyond compliance. Over two decades, it has involved employees, customers, communities, and more in sustainability efforts, spanning GHG reduction, Water, Waste, Biodiversity, and more. Its Wipro Cares initiative aids underprivileged communities while promoting ecological balance. Programmes like Urban Ecology Grants, Urban Water, Community Ecology, and Bengaluru Sustainability Forum showcase its comprehensive sustainability approach.

Wipro Foundation acknowledges that disadvantaged communities are the hardest hit during disasters, which are unfortunately common in a diverse country like India. It has a history of providing both short-term relief and long-term rehabilitation support to communities affected by various disasters, including floods, tsunamis, hurricanes, and cyclones. Its approach involves immediate relief aid after a disaster and a comprehensive assessment for long-term rehabilitation. The ultimate goal is to help these communities recover their livelihoods and build resilience against future disasters, especially in disaster-prone areas. In 2018, Wipro Foundation incorporated 'Public Spaces in Cities and Communities' into its CSR initiatives.
