It pri Read moreoritises the well-being of women, youth, and children, focusing on their physical, mental, and social health. AIM conducts purposeful training to promote a healthier lifestyle and advocates for the betterment of the environment, envisioning a safer and more livable mother earth. Established in 2005, AIM is dedicated to serving society, particularly ordinary people, and is registered with the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board as an NGO. It collaborates with Government schemes and conducts HRD and IEC activities in both rural and urban areas of Tamil Nadu. Notably, AIM actively participates in sanitation programmes like "Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan," addressing the daily challenges faced by people in maintaining a healthy life and striving to make cities and villages cleaner.

Programs

  • Swachh Bharat Mission(SBM)

    It conducted awareness programmes on solid waste management and waste segregation, trained NSS students on Swachh Bharat activities, and engaged student volunteers in door-to-door campaigns promoting cloth bag usage to reduce plastic. Plans include expanding awareness of cloth bag use, reducing plastic, and protecting areas like Perur Temple from pollution. AIM NGO commits to aligning with Swachh Bharat and Jal Shakti Abhiyan principles, collaborating with local bodies to educate the public and encourage lifestyle changes for a healthier, eco-friendly environment through awareness, IEC activities, and training.

  • Tree Plantation Programme

    As part of the Mission LiFE programme, a mass tree planting event was organized on June 1, 2023, in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, Tamil Nadu Forest Department, and AIM NGO. Located near Ukkadam in the Pullukadu area, the ceremony was inaugurated by prominent officials including the District Collector and Commissioner of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation. It aimed to promote environmental sustainability and community engagement, contributing to a greener future for the region.
