It is based at Tiruvannamalai district. The organisation has been engaged in various welfare and developmental activities for the last 22 years amongst the downtrodden, handicapped and marginalized farmers, especially underprivileged women and children. Health, children education and welfare, Women Saving & Credit society, and providing employment opportunities are our current target areas. Geographical working area of our organisation is in Tamil Nadu limit. Tiruvannamalai District is our present target area. BOSS has completed its 22 years with successfully endeavours and has committed itself to help the poor people in becoming self-reliant, and to use the resources locally available to achieve a social change in rural sector. Since the inception, economic development activities have also been one of our key areas of concern. Setting up of micro-enterprise units, micro credit and saving units, and providing entrepreneurship training for economically downtrodden youth and women in rural area are amongst our key objectives.
