Vama Jankalyan Sewa Samiti has been established in the year 2000 by Mrs Anjali Khatri concerned with the social welfare of the poorest of the society, Read more incorporated by a group of 7 peoples initially. Vama Jankalyan Sewa Samiti has been organizing regular camps in a slum area of the city for Consulting and advising for social evils like dowry, alcoholism, women abuse, making them self-dependent and assist them in the improvement of social and economic conditions. Mission: “To build women of the society, independent and self-confident to enable them, for a healthy and dignified living without any discrimination and contribute in the improvement of living conditions and economic progress of the family, society and the nation.” Objectives: The charter of the Society provides for the following main objects: To carry on the activities for welfare and support to women, children and age-old peoples. To carry on the activities for the overall development of women and provide them with employment oriented training. To carry on the activities for prevention of cruelty and atrocity on women and create awareness and to organize and carry on active programs women for the eradication of such social evils and provide support and protection to destitute and abandoned women, child and age-old peoples. To support destitute and abandoned women and child also provide them with informal education. To carry on the programs for the availability of drinking water in slum areas and carry on community-based programs for awareness of health and hygiene. To carry on the programs for the availability of nutritional food to poorest children and provide services for their health care and immunization. To provide physical, social, emotional, economical support and social security to destitute and abandoned women, child and age-old peoples. To impart training for small scale industries to the women and persons of poor categories to make them independent and self-reliant& to help them by making small groups. To impart employment-oriented training to women & young girls such as sewing, Diwali Lights, Pickles, PohaChiwda, Mathri, Chakli, Knitting, Kroshia, boutique, Handloom, Handicraft, Zari-Jardosi, Embroidery, Soapwashing powder, aggarbatti, rakhi, papad, bamboo wood, terry cota and other manufacturing of different sizes of metals, to make soft toys from cloths. Also imparting training of computers and technical knowledge. Helping women with a better employment opportunity to all those who have obtained above-mentioned training so that this can lead them & their family to a better future. To work for the environment protection and to conduct Awareness program& to work in different fields such as global warming, plantation, water reservation & protection, cleanliness, electricity-saving, also to get aware against Female Feticide. To make arrangement for the distribution of useful & best literature for the encouragement of education and science. To conduct Camps for Eye donation, Blood donation camp, and for the relief of handicapped.

  • Help Against Domestic Violence

    The program offers assistance to survivors of domestic violence, recognizing that abuse can manifest in various forms, including physical aggression, sexual abuse, emotional manipulation, control, intimidation, stalking, neglect, and economic deprivation. Through this program, individuals receive comprehensive support tailored to their specific circumstances, including counseling, legal aid, shelter, and access to resources. It aims to empower survivors to break free from the cycle of abuse, providing them with the tools and assistance needed to rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and autonomy.
