Programs

  • Women’s Social and Economic Empowerment

To combat gender inequality and change unequal power relations, we involve men and boys and support the empowerment of women and girls. We enable women to form social enterprises that expand the possibilities for sustainability, improve their standard of living, and increase their income. Women can make improvements in other aspects of their lives with increased financial security.

Zalkari focuses its efforts on three main areas where it thinks it can make the biggest difference: entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and respectable employment. We thus give assisting individuals to rebuild their livelihoods following natural catastrophes and humanitarian crises a lot of thought.

  • Child Education

To discover the particular barriers that prevent the majority of females from attending school, Zalkari uses a gender-just approach in the classroom. She also works with boys and men to assist in identifying and removing these barriers. Zalkari makes an effort to provide a fair environment in which every youngster can develop, learn, and steal.
