The members have worked with numerous renowned International and National Agencies on the Developmental issues of the disadvantaged sections in India. The team has very well expertise in training and capacity building, livelihood and entrepreneurship skill development, publication, education, and financial inclusion. Since its inception, Zalkari Foundation has focussed on nurturing a balanced constructive approach among women, children, and youth. Generating awareness on self, surrounding, and improving livelihood and economic security among youth and women, Zalkari started its work with youth and women from Denotified communities in the Amravati district of Maharashtra. It enables youth and children to build career opportunities through quality education. It also works with farmers and women’s groups in 5-gram Panchayats in Raigad district in Maharashtra to enable them to explore sustained means of livelihood. Local groups of farmers, women, youth, and children become instrumental in attaining new skills, and knowledge through this intervention.
