The Lallubhai Seth Arogya Mandir operates under the Shree Vidyaguru Foundation trust in Savar Kundla, Amreli district, Gujarat. This foundation was es Read moretablished in tribute to Guru, "Shree Ratilal Borisagar," and is comprised of doctors, businessmen, teachers, and prominent individuals, all of whom have benefited from his guidance. Recognizing the prevalent poverty, particularly in small villages, and the lack of basic healthcare, the organisation identified a critical issue. Even if a patient is transported to a larger town, the healthcare expenses are exorbitant, making it impossible for the common man to arrange such funds. Consequently, underprivileged people are denied the healthcare they deserve. In response, the foundation conceived the idea of a healthcare project in Savarkundla, aiming to provide top-notch medical and health services to everyone, without bias or discrimination, and completely free of cost. In essence, this is a fully operational hospital without a billing system. The hospital is equipped with 60 beds and staffed by four specialists, including MD in Medicine, MB DGO (gynaecologist, obstetrician), MBDCH (paediatrician), and MS (Surgeon), along with five Medical Officers with MBBS qualifications and five Medical Officers with Ayush qualifications. Additionally, it has a Medical Store and Laboratory within the hospital premises. The hospital features a Dialysis Unit capable of conducting 20 dialyses per day in two shifts, facilitated by 10 dialysis machines. Under the trust, it offers various health services, including gynaecology, paediatrics, general medicine, surgery, and dialysis. Soon, it plans to inaugurate three new departments: Orthopaedic, Eye, and Cancer. All the facilities provided under the trust are offered free of cost to patients. The daily OPD attendance is over 800. The hospital conducts 5 to 6 normal deliveries and 2 to 3 caesarian deliveries daily. Family planning operations are also performed here. All treatments for children, including those admitted to NICU, are provided free of cost. The hospital caters to various medical conditions, such as heart diseases, paralysis, myocardial infection, COPD, hypertension, bronchial asthma, pneumonia, diabetes, ketoacidosis, under the Medicine department. The Surgical department handles surgeries for hernia, appendix, lab choli, umbilical hernia, fissure, and piles, all offered at no cost to the patient. Additionally, the hospital provides free lunch and dinner to both patients and their attendants. The objective is to deliver patient-centered care that enhances outcomes and quality of life, cultivate a culture of inclusivity and diversity among both staff and patients, and extend access to healthcare services for underserved communities. * Promoting wellness through outstanding care. * Nurturing you and your family with excellence. * Offering world-class healthcare with compassion. * Bringing hope and healing to every patient.
