  • House of Hope Programme

    Since 2007, the Human Upliftment Trust (HUT) has transformed the House of Hope orphanage, overcoming community resistance to establish a school and clinic. The orphanage, now with dedicated blocks for education, administration, and hostels, has gained community acceptance, and parents are eager to enroll their children. HUT's impact is evident in student success, with awards in District-level competitions and graduates pursuing higher education.

    Notably, HUT breaks the stigma of HIV/AIDS in India by integrating 22 children into mainstream schools, providing them with education for a dignified life. Dr. Raja and Dr. Indhra have treated over 3000 AIDS patients. The organisation addresses health and education, rehabilitating 87 underweight children since 2007. Despite funding cuts, HUT maintains crucial care, earning the Trust from marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu.

  • HUT Rural School Programme

    The Human Upliftment Trust (HUT) Rural School has successfully enabled 4,012 students to graduate, preventing approximately 1,800 first-generation learners from dropping out. Around 400 alumni have pursued careers as computer software engineers, doctors, Indian Police Service officers, auditors, and IT personnel. Recognized as one of the top twenty schools in Tiruchirappalli district, HUT's rural school consistently delivers excellent education and results. Achieving a 100% pass rate in the Tenth Board exams for the past seven years, the school has garnered awards and accolades in the field of education. Notably, in 2014, all 25 students who appeared for the exams passed, with the topper scoring 97%, and 76% achieving a First-class pass, showcasing outstanding results for a rural school.

  • Shelter Programme for HIV Infected Homeless & Orphan Children

    The Human Upliftment Trust (HUT) in India is dedicated to creating loving homes and offering competent educational opportunities for AIDS-infected and orphaned children. Through its House of Hope, established in 2007, HUT addresses the medical and psychological needs of HIV-positive individuals, with a focus on securing a future for their children. This integrated centre includes an orphanage and school catering to 39 children aged 3 to 18, providing education aligned with Government standards in Tamil medium. House of Hope serves as a shelter for homeless HIV orphaned children, offering not just beds, blankets, and daily nutritional meals but also emotional support, education, cultural activities, medical checkups, counselling, and physical exercise. Currently housing 105 children, HUT's House of Hope is an inclusive learning centre providing comprehensive care for HIV orphaned and vulnerable children, fostering their educational, emotional, nutritional, and medical well-being.
