A non-profit social organization from Wardha in Central India, working for the development and empowerment of rural areas and rural people, especially Read more women and farmers. Working for sustainable development with a holistic vision and focused specific areas of interventions and innovations, At the micro level:  With crisis-ridden village people, people-centred strategies to empower especially the deprived, and those with talent and potential of excelling to function as catalysts. The area comprises about 100 villages in Wardha District in Central India. At the macro level:  Functions as Resource Centre for Sustainable Development for groups, organizations, action fronts, activists, networks and policy-making agencies in India and abroad.   • Agricultural Development

    Chetana-Vikas has partnered with farmers to support their independence to:

    Increasing the land's productivity
    Enhance their farming business's profitability
    Assure the resources' sustainability.
    Provide them and their families with security and a good quality of life.
    Providing producers—farmers and farm labourers—with a suitable living wage and food.
    Preservation and enhancement of the environment, ecosystems, natural resources, and the natural world Ensure that everyone has sufficient nourishment for life.
    Knowledge of women's contributions to the environment and agriculture.
    Investigating, creating, and supporting technology that improves suitable production, biological Processes, decentralisation, and self-sufficiency.
