Sparsh Social Foundation is a registered not-for profit Section 8 company, with a mission to build socially harmonious and financially viable communit Read moreies. The focus of our intervention is to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for marginalized rural communities. Sparsh marked its humble beginning in year 2010 in the state of Orissa and began its operations in women health and adult literacy. With an objective of holistic community development we have been successful in designing and implementing replicable community projects along the thematic areas of Women Empowerment Sustainable Agriculture Youth Engagement Holistic Education Community Health Care. In 2019, Sparsh a registered society was converted to Sparsh Social Foundation a section 8 company under the provision 366 of the company’s act 2013. Sparsh thus became amongst the first not-for-profit organizations in India to usher in greater transparency and accountability to its operations.

  • Women Empowerment Program

    The aim is to initiate and fortify Women Collectives through Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Producer Groups, facilitating empowerment and collective action among women. These groups serve as platforms for women to come together, share resources, build skills, and collectively address socio-economic challenges they face. Through SHGs and Producer Groups, women gain access to financial services, training, market linkages, and decision-making opportunities, enabling them to enhance their livelihoods and contribute to the overall development of their communities.

This support encompasses various initiatives such as scholarships, grants, mentorship programs, and infrastructure development, all aimed at facilitating access to higher education for a larger segment of the population. By enhancing GER and focusing on delivering quality education, these efforts contribute to the overall development of individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole.
