Nityaasha Foundation is a registered charitable trust established in 2013, dedicated to helping underprivileged children with Type 1 Diabetes. The obj Read moreective is to "provide an equal opportunity for all to cherish the gift of life". Nityaasha provides free medical aid to these children and also helps in creating a complete and holistic circle of care for children suffering from this unrelenting condition. Counselling, dietary and lifestyle advice, training and support are all provided to ensure sustained, all-round wellbeing and development of the child. Nityaasha monitors the child's health on a continuous basis through home, school and centre visits, follow-up calls, etc. It also educates and motivates the children, their parents and school to deal with this disorder with confidence, clearing all fears or misconceptions. The Nityaasha team of social workers, dieticians and trained counsellors works closely with paediatric endocrinologists from various local hospitals in Pune, who refer needy children to Nityaasha for assistance.

  • Home/Centre Visits

    District

    The Nityaasha Foundation offers free medical assistance, such as insulin, lancets, strips, syringes, glucometers, and other supplies, to children with Type 1 Diabetes through home and centre visits.

    We also arrange an annual eye screening for these children, who are at risk of eye damage from diabetic retinopathy, and fund routine pathology tests to track the kids' glycemic control and for early detection of any diabetes problem.
