The Crescent Foundation laid in 2008 with the aim for the betterment and upliftment of the weaker & underprivileged community in India. The Crescent F Read moreoundation founded under the Public Charitable Trust Registration Act in 2008 is home to peoples and nature beset with problems of poverty, illiteracy, unequal distribution of wealth, exploitation and all the associated ills. This results from a lack of awareness, illiteracy, poor planning, and wanton greed of the section of human society and a world where every child attains the right to survival, protection, development, and participation, envisions building an equal opportunity society. The organization seeks sustainable solutions to long-term problems of the ‘marginalized and weaker section of the society’ through an integrated, community-based, participatory approach that reinforces civil society and government initiative. Through an array of empowering measures, it works to open opportunities for marginalized and weaker sections of society and improve their living conditions. TCF, at present, is engaged in the field of Education in weaker sections and marginalized communities and in the health sector, skill development and women empowerment field with an average of 12000+ beneficiaries till date.


Issue

We the crescent foundation would like to open a school in Nanded in tyre board this area cover Shakti nagar laxmi nagar Hyderbagh Degloor naka, chaupala for this section people thousands of children are doing labor work in this area we will provide education in free of coast to them on good level. For that we need the land to build the school and construction, teaching faculties’ school equipment’s and essentials things which required opening the school. This education project will generate and plays a vital role in this modern world. A well-educated person is always given utmost respect in the society; education has become a basic commodity like food, clothing and shelter. Education is useful till the last breath. It develops positive attitude in the people. It is the ultimate pathway of success livelihood from the resources of the region. A problem being suffered by the people living in the area is illiteracy we want to decrease the illiteracy rate in this area. On the bases of education, they should become good citizens of India.

The organization has worked with multiple stakeholders: governmental bodies, media, private sector National NGOs and organizations to create a platform and an understanding towards this margined and voiceless section of the society. Taking impetus from its previous work TCF this year articulated and highlighted issues of important of education for daily wages working family, marginalized and Below poverty line family and working children at the Marathwada level as well. We continuously trying and giving our best to decommercialization of education system through crescent public school at Nanded District. TCF was able to present its experience of working with local School and campuses how to bring the education awareness and the decommercialization process in school systems with sustainability of organization the presentation also included how its work on sensitization and working with local governments private organization and juvenile justice system led to greater impact. TCF also understands the Barrier in education for marginalized and weaker section of the society. To ensure opportunities of education, health, nutrition, play and survival it was thus necessary to work on the concept of decommercialization of education system in Marathwada. All these activities made it possible for with the help of TCF hardworking and dedicated team and some of corporate social responsibilities team.

Impact

Crescent E-Governances Services (Initiated by the Government of India) The Crescent Foundation started this project of E-Governance Services (Setu Suvidha Kendre) in 2012 @ Degloor Naka Nanded. The aim of this project was to avail all the mandatory documents to the underprivileged people how are not able to get benefits of government scheme due shortage of documents. During this project The Crescent had conducted several camps and Impotency of document awareness camp. During this Project through the camps, we The Crescent Foundation, Distributed 1400 Ration Card to the Beneficiaries. All over the Old city of Nanded. Near above 10000+ School student took benefits through (SHAALE ABHIYAN). In this Event we distributed State Domicile, Nationality, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate & other school related document. Prime Minister Urban Housing scheme form filling documentation and submission camp with 5000+ beneficiaries. Several Aadhar Camp Conducted in Nanded District. During this Project The crescent foundation recognize with many award For his work The Crescent Job Center The Crescent Job Centre is the platform for the unskilled and unemployed people. The aim of this platform fills the gap of jobs approaches way between employee and employer. By providing proper interview training to the applicant who is passes out the intermediate and looking for the job and developing the skill to the applicant who is doing unskilled work due to financial problem with this platform we select the candidate who is passed out higher school and doing job in factory or construction company we provide them typewriting and accounting courses at free of cost with certified training and motivate them to join any standard firm with good earning Successfully organized. Nursing ANM GNM job placement event successfully placed 105 applicants in various multispecialty and general hospital Nanded. Successfully provided Medical Resonance Imagination Training With the help of private diagnosis center (like MRI, CT-Scan, X-ray) and placed them in respective diagnosis center. Every year till 2015 we have provided various free training to the beneficiaries. THE CRESCENT JAN AUSHADI Kendre (Generic Medical Store initiated by the Government of India) The aim of this medical store to promote the aim of the Indian government that is TO PROVIDE GENERIC MEDICINE AT AFFORDABLE PRICE. ACCESS TO QUALITY MEDICINE FOR ALL SECTION OF THE POPULATION ESPECIALLY THE POOR AND DEPRIVED ONES. This center was opened at one of the highly populated and slum area of Nanded district. Till this project end we have benefited 2000+ regular bases patient who is below poverty line suffering from diseases like sugar, diabetics, blood pressure cardio disease.

  • The Crescent Clothing Centre

    District

    The Crescent vocational training centre already working with Stitching and traditional embroidery project, we every year train the 60+ women in this project after the completion of the train a big question mark in front of us about smooth and sustainable earning. So, we came with the Crescent cloth manufacture small scale industries which have a demand in Nanded Maharashtra.
    The Crescent clothing center is the small-scale garment stitching and manufacturing industries. Which is going to start in Nanded city of Maharashtra. It has huge market like 20+ colleges, 30+ schools, government firms, restaurant, hospitality service. Multiple brands service station here everybody needs a uniform apart from this there are many cloths marketing firm which provide a cloth to the retailer this is having a huge demand in Nanded. And garment market. The aim of startup to bring a smooth easily availability of clothes to the market at affordable prices for the retailer.

  • The Crescent Dialysis Centre

    District

    In India the as per blood transfusion council the per unit bag rate is 1450/- and dialysis in private hospital charges 1500 to 2000 per dialysis, 750 to 800 in other hospital on an average per dialysis the patient must Pay 2500 to 3000, but it is not possible for underprivileged communities who is suffering from this kidney diseases.
    After knowing this fact in, we the crescent foundation has plan to start the DIALYSIS CENTRE in Nanded district at The Dialysis need the blood for it we the crescent foundation is having its first requirement of this process through the crescent blood centre patient do not need to worried about the needed blood for dialysis the crescent blood centre will provide the require blood at efficient cost to them and the dialysis charges would be very minimal for just maintain the centre operation. So poor people who don’t have access to the dialysis will be taken care by the Crescent dialysis centre

  • The Crescent Public School

    District

    The Crescent Public School promotes the decommercialization of the education system In Nanded district. Our aim is to give quality education at minimal fees which are easily affordable for the parents without distracting the financial chart, to save the transportation charges and extra activities Charges, the Crescent Public School is operating the school in their locality to make their children for a continuation of education without dropping out from school. The Crescent public school is situated in one of the most backward & weaker section areas where the literacy rate is on a very critical scale. Our aim is to give literacy to at least one child from one family from that area who can be a change-maker for an upcoming generation. 95% of children in our school belong to families which have no connection with education. They are the daily wage workers, cleaners, sweepers, domestic house workers etc.

  • The Crescent Blood Center

    District

    The crescent blood center runs on not for profit, As the demand is high, we supply blood unit mainly to the Govt hospital 98% of patient in this hospital is below poverty line and from rural area every year government hospital has the demand 18000 to 20000 which is very high and not able to avail this much target so they refer the outsider blood bank for the blood. We the single blood center is one who gave free blood unit to the patient from the government hospital who are genuinely in need of it. This year we gave 800 free blood unit to patient of government hospital and 200 free blood unit in multispecialty hospital totally free of cost.)

  • The Crescent Clothing Center.

    District

    The Crescent Clothing center aim is to provide a part-time job to the women who are the responsible for their home cares, we upgrade their skill by providing a stitching training and certification with job placement in Nanded district as per their convenient time to earn good amount on daily bases, most of the women was a domestic helper in house they used to work hard 7 to 8 hours daily in different houses a cleaner after getting skilled training now they are working for 4 hours and earning more than previous work without any hurdle and parallelly maintain their personal life in good manners.
    We worked with the National Urban livelihood mission, in this scheme we trained more than 200+ women from a backward section as well as single mother orphanage women and girl.

  • The Crescent Skill Development Center

    District

    The crescent foundation is doing work in nanded since 2008 in livelihood and transformation till now 500+ permanent youth got placed with a white-collar job and some are pursing higher degrees. Many researchers by the government of India like Rang Nath Mishra Committee & Sachar Committee says that, Muslim community is the most underprivileged community in India in every aspect education, financial, technical skills. We the crescent foundation trying to bridge the gap underprivileged to privilege of the Muslim youth by providing them skill training like stitching, nursing courses, computer technical courses through our organization. Till date we have trained 500+ youth with the job placement with various skill enhancement.
