The organisation focuses on promoting education awareness in villages, particularly among marginalized groups like SCs, STs, and OBCs. Through initiatives such as women's groups, MUS empowers illiterate women by teaching basic literacy and signature skills. Efforts extend to encouraging parents to prioritize girls' education, resulting in increased school admissions. Additionally, MUS hosts awareness events and collaborates with Government welfare programmes to provide financial aid. Recognized by the National Trust, MUS serves as a Local Level Committee representative, overseeing welfare initiatives for the disabled and facilitating health insurance and guardianship. Moreover, the organisation conducts surveys to identify and support individuals with mental disabilities in the Mau district.

MUS actively supports healthcare for mothers and infants through health camps, providing free check-ups and medicines to marginalized groups such as the disabled, SCs, and STs. In tackling HIV/AIDS, the organisation conducts various awareness initiatives like camps, street plays, and seminars to educate the community about prevention. Moreover, as part of the Pulse Polio campaign, MUS organises awareness rallies involving school children, aiming to ensure widespread polio vaccination and envisioning a polio-free India through comprehensive coverage of polio drops for all children.

The organisation is advocating for a shift towards modernised yet sustainable agriculture practices. Recognising the detrimental effects of excessive chemical usage on soil and the environment, MUS is actively raising awareness among farmers. Encouraging the adoption of cost-effective methods like organic farming, the focus is on reducing chemical dependence. Additionally, MUS promotes the cultivation of specific plants like zatropha, teak, peppermint, and others, aiming to both preserve the environment and enhance economic opportunities for individuals by motivating them to plant these species.

The organisation actively engages in advocacy efforts across various crucial issues including land lease, Panchayati raj, fair wages, exploitation, and the right to information. MUS channels its advocacy through diverse groups such as women's organisations, parent groups, self-help groups, youth forums, and farmer associations. Specifically, initiatives aim to educate the public on Government operations and combat prevailing corruption to ensure fair and Government-fixed wages for the people.

MUS has been actively empowering women in villages by organising awareness events focused on cottage industries, condiment farming, and beekeeping. Additionally, vocational training in embroidery, weaving, knitting, painting, and tailoring has been provided to selected women, aiming to bolster their economic independence. Central to these efforts are women's rallies advocating for empowerment and Panchayati raj, complemented by wall writings, poster displays, and the distribution of handbills, all aimed at furthering the cause of women's empowerment.
