  • Special Education To Hearing Impaired Children

Intervention and education is time sensitive for children with special needs. Hence, specialised courses designed to suit individual needs of students are optimal in helping them set a positive course to their lives, simultaneously tackling issues like lack of concentration and aiding effective communication. Emphasis on education along with speech and auditory therapy ensures a holistic development. Regular physical education taught in a safe and suitable environment is known to be beneficial to the overall progress of children with hearing disability and is known to complement academic progress. The Special Schools by Ashray Akruti are recognised by the Governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Child centred Individual Education Plans by the special-ed teachers are created on a monthly basis in accordance with the Telangana State Board Syllabus and evaluated by the Director to ensure effectiveness. A healthy Teacher student ratio of 1:8 ensures personalized attention from our teachers and therapists, who are certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Providing Special Education through Oral Aural and Total Communication methods, our centres at Srinagar Colony, Chandrayangutta and Kadapa are fully equipped to provide quality and inclusive education.
