Divyang Punarvasan v Vikas Kendra, Pandharkawada

From January 10th to January 12th, 2018, Divyang Punarvasan v Vikas Kendra, Pandharkawada, in collaboration with local authorities, organised a training program on manufacturing and repairing solar energy equipment at Bhachat Bhavan. This program, conducted by Jeevandhara Impang / Divyang Rehabilitation and Development Centre, catered specifically to disabled individuals, NGO members, and women from self-help groups under NULM. Interested participants were required to confirm their admission by January 9th, 2018, by submitting necessary documents to the Municipal Council office. The initiative aimed to empower disabled individuals and promote sustainable energy practices, demonstrating the organization's commitment to inclusive development and skill-building opportunities.

Divyang Punarvasan v Vikas Kendra, Pandharkawada, advocates for the early detection and intervention of disabilities in children aged zero to five years through its 'Rapid Diagnosis and Intervention' programme. Recognizing the critical role of early intervention in enabling children to overcome disabilities, the organisation emphasizes the importance of timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment. By raising public awareness and facilitating remedial measures, especially for children who are deaf, disabled, mentally challenged, or visually impaired, the centre aims to address the increasing incidence of disability among young children. Through collaborative efforts involving parents, medical professionals, and voluntary organizations, it seeks to empower communities to proactively address and mitigate the impact of disabilities, promoting inclusivity and holistic development from an early age.
