The organization's vision encompasses the creation of a compassionate, inclusive, and equitable society that upholds the well-being of seniors and nurtures and educates the younger generation. Our special focus is on rehabilitation and welfare of destitute elderly.

Impact

With the dedication of 140 volunteers, Abhinav Samaj has provided care for 220 elderly individuals, distributed 80,412 meals, and supported 976 students.

Programs

  • Healthcare Programme

    Abhinav Samaj prioritizes the welfare of children in Delhi and NCR slums. It ensures that hunger and poverty don't hinder education and growth. The team tirelessly provides nourishment and learning materials, enabling children to flourish. Beyond immediate needs, the organisation imparts values, teaching respect for elders and responsibility. This prepares youngsters to make positive contributions to society. Through a comprehensive approach, it strives to offer underprivileged children a brighter future with access to opportunities, enabling them to reach their full potential.

  • Environment Programmes

    Abhinav Samaj acknowledges the pressing need to tackle climate change and its repercussions. The "Climate Change Advocacy" programme aims to raise awareness and inspire action, particularly among youth, to counter its effects. The "Tree Plantation" initiative is a cornerstone, of combatting climate change by capturing carbon, generating oxygen, and fostering habitats. "Plantation Drives" involve local communities, while "Education and Awareness" efforts encompass workshops and campaigns. "Advocacy and Policy Development" collaborate with authorities to bolster tree planting and climate change measures, furthering Abhinav Samaj's commitment to a sustainable future.

  • Women Empowerment Programme

    Abhinav Samaj's programme to train youth in caregiving and place them in care homes and households of solitary seniors is praiseworthy. This dual-purpose effort generates employment for the young while attending to the elderly's requirements. This not only fulfils seniors' caregiving needs but also grants the youth a chance to gain insight from their life experiences.   • Elderly Care Programme

    Abhinav Samaj focuses on rehabilitating and caring for destitute seniors. It offers free shelter, food, and medical facilities, addressing the basic needs of elderly individuals left without support. The organisation's establishment of an old-age home provides palliative and hospice care, easing the suffering of those with terminal illnesses. It also conducts the last rituals for elderly residents, especially beneficial for those whose families have rejected them, ensuring a dignified farewell for the departed.

  • Education Programmes

    Abhinav Samaj acknowledges education's vital role in individual and community development. Its educational support efforts target enhancing access and outcomes for underprivileged children, particularly in regions with limited educational resources. Initiatives encompass distributing school bags and stationery kits, awarding scholarships based on need and merit, and providing educational support and mentoring. These initiatives empower disadvantaged children to overcome obstacles in pursuing education, offering tutoring, study groups, and resources like libraries. It strives to ensure equal access to tools and opportunities, enabling every child to excel academically and reach their potential.

  • Food Distribution Program

    Under this program we are regularly distributing ready to eat food packets in slum colonies since COVID 2019 (since May 2020) to feed the underprivilige people in slum colonies as many of them has lost their earning members during COVID crisis. We ensure to provide best quality hygeinic and healthy food to residents of these slum colonies.
