Anamprem is a sister organisation of the NGO Snehalaya. A group of committed and accountable citizens in Ahmednagar recognized the urgent requirement Read morefor a centre that could cater to the needs of individuals with disabilities in the surrounding areas, including rural regions. These individuals were often compelled to resort to begging due to the lack of educational and employment opportunities. Thus, the journey of Anamprem began. Its primary objective was to empower the differently abled, ensuring their inclusion in society and fostering greater sensitivity towards their needs. Throughout its existence, it has relied solely on private donors, as it has never received any Government support. By extending a helping hand, it strives to bridge the gap between the differently abled and society, promoting a more inclusive and compassionate community.

Programs

  • Employment Programme

    In a joint collaboration, Anamprem and Youth4Jobs have established a two-month skill development programme at Satyamev Jayate Gram. The programme offers free residential facilities to individuals with disabilities through Anamprem, while the Youth4Jobs team provides training and assistance with job placements. This initiative has successfully empowered numerous beneficiaries, enabling them to attain financial stability and improved livelihoods.

  • Gaurang Abhinav School

    A new school and hostel named Gaurang Abhinav School have been inaugurated for visually challenged and differently-abled children (aged 6 to 13 years) at the Satyamev Jayate Gram in Nimblak village, Ahmednagar. Spanning over 2 acres of land, this educational institution is admitting 24 students from various parts of India this academic year. The establishment of the school is in collaboration with the Shree Gaurang Gopinath Sarfare Charitable Trust.

  • Himmat Bhavan Hostel

    Himmat Bhavan Hostel offers housing and rehabilitation services to a cohort of 65 students ranging from 14 to 28 years old. The hostel caters to visually challenged individuals as well as other students with disabilities, providing them with both residential accommodations and specialized support for their rehabilitation needs.

  • Daily Meals

    Beneficiaries are provided with a daily nutritious diet, ensuring their health and well-being are prioritized. They are taught to recognize and respect the significance of meals. The goal is to cultivate an understanding that good health holds immense value, and nutrition is pivotal in leading a satisfying life.

  • Prakashwani – Audio Magazines for Visually Challenged

    Prakashwani, an audio magazine in Hindi primarily designed for visually challenged individuals, aids over 1000 youth across India in preparing for competitive exams. This support empowers them to secure respectable employment opportunities in semi-government, Government, and corporate sectors.

  • Arun and Mrinalini Computer Training Center

    Arun Mrunalini Computer Training Centre provides specialized screen reader software to cater to visually challenged individuals. The centre offers a range of courses aimed at enhancing computer literacy among beneficiaries, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities. Additionally, the centre conducts specialized communication courses, including English language training, to further enhance their skills. Through these initiatives, visually challenged individuals can become computer literate and acquire the necessary abilities to secure jobs in various fields.
