All initiatives of ugam foundation are the brainchild of Jalanayk Bhai Sampatrao Pawar who is working in the field of water conservation, human resources development, youth development, drought eliminations and overall rural development for past 45 years. Baliraja Dam is the first dam build by people under the guidance of Sampatrao Pawar where he has implemented the concept of water bank. Tyre dam in memory of Baba Amte, Agrani river rejuvenation, Battle against Poverty (BAP Project), Public Fodder Camp & 1942-Kranti Smriti Van are some of his unique projects.
