Prabhat's Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) initiative aims to create inclusive environments and empower communities in helping children with special needs and their families facing mobility, distance, or awareness challenges accessing Prabhat Centers. This programme is shaped by field observations, home visits, and consultations with experienced advocates. CBR focuses on increasing awareness, knowledge, and local capacity to support these children. The Home-based Programme provides training and education within neighbourhoods, guided by surveys to pinpoint priority needs. Prabhat's team conducts regular visits to foster supportive environments for children and families, assisting those with mobility or distance issues and often recruiting community members.

Prabhat's advocacy aims to expand opportunities for children with special needs and their families by eliminating social stigma and enabling their full integration into Indian society. This includes regular awareness workshops involving Anganwadi staff, students, educators, and administrators from mainstream schools. Public outreach efforts aim to raise awareness and encourage engagement in fostering inclusivity. Specialists assess students for potential disabilities, and the Early Intervention (EI) programme provides customized support. Ongoing awareness activities feature workshops, street theatre, events, and gatherings, all contributing to Prabhat's advocacy mission.
