    It offers community-based programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and addressing various concerns within the communities. This involves establishing connections with industry, social sectors, and technical partners to market dairy and crafts products, as well as creating innovative applications for pastoral produce. The organisation also provides valuable information on legal provisions, such as Community Forest Rights and the Biodiversity Act, and offers paralegal and technical training for documenting traditional grazing areas and migration routes, facilitating legal claims for access. Additionally, it collaborates with technical institutions to gain official recognition for the livestock breeding skills of pastoralists.

    Sahjeevan understands the significance of institutional integration. Strengthening community-based organisations is crucial for sustained impact. The Centre for Pastoralism's establishment enables nationwide expansion. It supports pastoral communities in driving interventions related to livelihoods, grazing lands, biodiversity, and resource management. Presently, four community-based organizations collaborate in Kachchh and Saurashtra.
